Added Rows Number column for easier navigation through the List of Documents
We added a new column - Rows Number. This function allows to automatically number all new lines in the List of Documents. Rows Number can be switched on or off, like other columns in the "Show/hide columns" menu. This feature may be useful, if you manage long lists of documents.
Added ability to print several slides of a PowerPoint presentation file on the same page
Now you can place multiple presentation slides on one sheet of paper when printing MS Powerpoint PPT or PPTX files. Select between 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 9 slides per page. In order to print several slides on one page, go to Advanced Settings and tackle this feature by opening Ini File Editor (Ctrl+Alt+i). Then find the line "Ppt_Potype" and set its value to:

Improved and fixed PDF printing engine
The PDF printing module of Print Conductor 5.6 has some improvements and fixes under the hood. They are related to image processing and rendering:
- Fixed rendering PDF files to PNG for "Print as image" mode
- Fixed issue with 1-Bit PNG image rendering
- Fixed issue with bad clipping rendering
- Fixed issue with inline image parsing
Improved English and Swedish interface translation
English and Swedish translations of the program have been corrected by our experienced users. Now the terms and menus are more accurate. By the way, we would really appreciate if you let us know about any flaws in translation to your native language.
Fixed issue in ability to print documents and cover pages on paper from different printer trays
With Print Conductor you can send documents to one printer tray, but cover and report pages - to another one (Settings > Common > "Paper source for additional pages"). An issue with data communication to different printer trays could occur in previous versions of Print Conductor. This is no longer an issue.
Fixed bug in Microsoft PowerPoint automation code
In some cases Microsoft Powerpoint API failed when Powerpoint main window was hidden.
Now the program's window is just minimized in the taskbar, and PPT and PPTX files printing automation works much more reliable.
Fixed bug in Microsoft Excel automation code
Similar to previous issue: in some cases Microsoft Excel API failed when Excel main window was hidden. Now the program's window is just minimized in the taskbar, and XLS and XLSX files processing works much more reliable.
Fixed issue with "Choose paper source by document page size" feature
In Print Conductor you can enable "Choose paper source by document page size" in the Common Settings. It allows Print Conductor to automatically select a printer tray which fits best depending on document's page size. This feature didn't work properly with certain printers, and now it is more stable.

Print Conductor is free for personal and non-commercial purposes. You can also test it in your office environment to see how it fits your business tasks. If you decide to continue using it in your company, you will need to buy a commercial licence for each user.
